| Semestre de otoño de 2023 | In 2023, the vibrant activities of LatAm@HSG continued to flourish, marking another milestone in the exploration and celebration of Latin American art. On the dynamic date of October 17th, the network orchestrated a highly successful workshop dedicated to the captivating realm of Arte Latinoamericano. Collaborating seamlessly with the CLS, this event served as a converging point for a diverse assembly of academics and practitioners, each contributing valuable insights into the multifaceted dimensions of Latin American art and its profound ties to Switzerland. In the backdrop of the past two decades, Latin American art has experienced an inspiring ascent, capturing global attention and acclaim. Switzerland, ever the cultural nexus, has played a pivotal role in nurturing the visibility and international triumph of Latin American artistic expression through a myriad of initiatives. The workshop not only facilitated a profound exchange of ideas, but also served as a catalyst for forging new connections by creating an atmosphere of collaboration and camaraderie. As participants engaged passionately in discussions, the workshop became a nexus of creativity and knowledge, paving the way for informal networking opportunities that promised to cultivate enduring relationships between members of the network. | Semestre de primavera de 2023 | Nos complace anunciar que LatAm@HSG cuenta ahora con una forma alternativa de establecer contactos entre sus miembros a través de un grupo de LinkedIn. El principal objetivo de esta red es crear un espacio donde compartir experiencias y conocimientos, intercambiar ideas y establecer posibles contactos. LatAm@HSG forma parte de la gran comunidad HSG conectada con América Latina. Esta plataforma pretende fortalecer el espíritu latinoamericano en el HSG. A través del grupo de LinkedIn, los miembros pueden organizar eventos, seminarios o simposios sobre diversos temas sociales, culturales, académicos y prácticos, compartir información, ofrecer contenidos actuales de interés común (por ejemplo, becas, prácticas o vacantes para estudiantes), ampliar y promover la red para incluir agrupaciones regionales, generacionales o disciplinarias. | HSG Alumni Club Andean Region | |
| Semestre de otoño de 2023 | The HSG Alumni Club Andean Region celebrated its first year of existence, and they were very pleased to organize their inaugural company visit in Bogotá. On August 3rd, the Club visited the distribution center of Roche Colombia, one of the newest and largest of its kind in the country. They enjoyed an insightful tour and gained knowledge about the significance of this Swiss company for the Colombian healthcare system. Furthermore, on September 21st, the Swiss chapter of the club reunited for the first time in person. They had a relaxed evening in a Zurich bar, exchanging interesting stories from their experiences and connections to the Andean Region. They are delighted to continue organizing social events, company visits, or discussions in their second year. Currently, they are actively seeking new members to help build this alumni bridge between Switzerland and the Andean Region. Feel free to reach out to them via their LinkedIn group. | Semestre de primavera de 2023 | La comunidad HSG Alumni finalmente tiene un club para los países de Perú, Ecuador, Colombia y Venezuela. El Club de Alumni HSG Región Andina fue fundado oficialmente el 17 de noviembre de 2022. La previamente fuerte red informal de Alumni en la región y en Suiza ha llevado a la creación de un club oficial de Alumni. La primera reunión virtual tuvo lugar el 13 de diciembre de 2022. Los miembros interesados pudieron formular sus preguntas. La junta directiva tuvo la oportunidad de presentarse. El HSG Alumni Club Región Andina espera organizar varios eventos sociales en 2023 y actuará como plataforma de comunicación en estrecha colaboración con el GIMLA. El club está presidido por Christof Leuenberger, que actualmente vive en Quito, y los tres vicepresidentes Simon Spirig (Bogotá), Daniel Breitenmoser (Suiza) y Leandro Neff (Bogotá). No dude en unirse al nuevo club y aportar sus ideas. |
| HSG Alumni Schweiz | |
| El antiguo alumno Stefan Widmer fundó la asociación FAMILIASLATINAS en marzo de 2013 y organiza regularmente excursiones y eventos para parejas y familias con raíces latinoamericanas. El objetivo de la asociación es hacer que las parejas y familias binacionales y multiculturales se sientan cómodas en Suiza y fomentar las tradiciones de Suiza y América Latina. La afiliación es gratuita y la inscripción puede realizarse con unos pocos clics en familiaslatinas.ch. FAMILIASLATINAS se alegra de contar con muchas nuevas parejas y familias miembros. | |
| HSG Alumni Brasil | |
| En el primer semestre del año, los estudiantes de HSG que se encuentran actualmente en Brasil participaron activamente en las actividades del Alumni Club Brasil. En el fin de semana del 26 al 28 de abril, otros ocho estudiantes aceptaron la invitación de los Alumni HSG Matthias Büttner (Presidente) y Marcos Montero a su casa de vacaciones en Ilhabela. El 1 de mayo, el Club de Antiguos Alumnos también organizó el primer "Trofeo Tell", con actividades como tiro con ballesta, un torneo de Jass y una cena con raclette. Estos actos tendieron puentes entre alumnos y antiguos alumnos y forjaron nuevas amistades. | |
| HSG Alumni in Venezuela | |
| Los antiguos alumnos de HSG Bruno Balasubramaniam, Christoph Jost y Thomas Meister han encontrado un nuevo hogar en Venezuela tras graduarse y trabajan allí en diversas áreas en el Grupo Farma, una multinacional que fabrica y distribuye productos farmacéuticos. El Grupo Farma fue fundado hace 72 años por un suizo y desde 1949 emplea a licenciados universitarios suizos en puestos de asistentes de dirección. Desde 1966, siempre han sido licenciados de HSG, como Bruno Balasubramaniam, Christoph Jost y Thomas Meister. Informe | |
