A group of 30 young farmers from Brazil attended an executive training module at the University of St.Gallen from the 16th until the 19th of September 2012.
The OTO (One To One) Leaders Academy junior program was sponsored by Syngenta as a loyalty gift to its OTO top customers in Brazil. This training, performed in São Paulo, is an innovative solution that allows representatives of the young generation of large-plantation owners to go away from their farms, in general located in distant areas from the big cities, during a short time for intensive learning modules about the latest trends in business management.
The OTO Leaders Academy program was developed and is managed by the training company INVENT - Sales and Trade Marketing National Institute, based in São Paulo.
Besides the modules in Brazil, each year there is an international module. This time it will take place at the HSG due to its top position in the Financial Times ranking.
The entire program facilitation was organized by the HSG Hub Office in São Paulo. The implementation is coordinated by the HSG Institute for Swiss SME and the HSG CLS – Centro Latinoamericano-Suíço.
This is a tailor-made training module that focuses on the following topics: family business, agroentrepreneurship and cross-cultural business development; in addition, it includes a visit to a family-run Swiss company and to a retail chain.
