The AIT aims to transform high-level applied research into market applications. Entry is awarded on a competitive basis to selected projects with entrepreneurial potential and to advance business plans, establish further contacts with the industry, clarify intellectual property issues, and present at international fairs. The AIT will provide the opportunity to network at an international level, to foster new partnerships and collaborations, and to have access to emerging markets.
The programme is meant for Master, PhD, Postdocs and researchers from Swiss Universities, Universities of Applied Science, and research institutes or centres of technological excellence with research track record working on a non-profit basis.
The Brazil AIT Camp took take place in Rio de Janeiro from November 27 to December 1, 2017, and the India AIT Camp in Bangalore from November 20 to 24, 2017.
